whatsoftdata is an intermedia collective working across art, design, and technology to soften the textures of everyday social and perceptual experience. The collective draws out the human, the ambiguous, and the accidental from systems and structures that appear fixed, rigid, or overly defined.
SoftRx is an ever-changing platform and the stage on which whatsoftdata conducts its experimental practices. It is designed as a system of layered chance—an environment where planned coincidences continuously generate new narratives.
MAKE IT SOFT, presented during the soft launch of SoftRx, is whatsoftdata’s first exhibition on this platform. The exhibition frames the site as a living organism—one that exists only in the unfolding of time, in relation to the bodies that move through it, and in the continuous reshaping of spatial and social conditions. This organism has now taken on the form of SoftRx, marking the beginning of a new life and a new story.
