Portfolio — Media Design Practices (M.F.A.)
Selected Projects for ArtCenter College of Design
The following projects are selected to represent my practice for ArtCenter Media Design Practices. Together, they demonstrate my approach to spatial, interactive, and multisensory systems, with an emphasis on material experimentation, rule-based interaction, and experiential rigor. Project titles link to full documentation and media elsewhere on my site.
Threshold — A Synesthetic Adjoining
Interactive Spatial Installation
An exploration of material, mechanical, and multisensory interaction through movable architectural elements, foregrounding bodily negotiation, light, air, and spatial reconfiguration.
Traces
Participatory Installation
A rule-based participatory system in which persistent audiovisual traces accumulate over time, emphasizing duration, collectivity, and emergent behavior.
Buoyant — Manipulating Gravity
Interactive Virtual Environment
A multi-state virtual environment governed by shifting gravity and sound, in which perceptual rules are learned through embodied interaction rather than instruction.
Treppenwitz
Site-Specific Augmented Reality Installation
A site-specific AR work that uses constrained movement and architectural alignment to produce perceptual disorientation, examining how timing, attention, and enforced trajectories shape experience.
Bluet
Augmented Reality Text Object
A spatial translation of literary structure, treating reading as an embodied, site-dependent interaction shaped by movement, distance, and orientation.
